I have seen it too many times, people bring in their computer to us and they have only made it worse than before. Some people fry their computers just by attempting to disassemble the plastic bezel! Easier said than done. Each computer has its own architecture and design and requires a unique repair approach. This is also valid for any software issues and/or viruses and malware.
Others try to remove a virus or a trojan by themselves with the help of an antivirus software. You can totally attempt to do this, it won’t harm your computer to use a one-time antivirus scanner, and sometimes, the malware will get intercepted and removed safely without corrupting your operating system.

Unfortunately, many viruses that infect computers are new and will fly under the radar. FUD (fully undetectable) viruses will bypass any antivirus software in the market and the only way to remove it, is to call an expert like me or by wiping it all out. If you proceed with a full wipe out, you must ensure all of your data is backed up properly beforehand. Even a full wipe out if not done properly, it can seriously compromise your system.
Whether it is a hardware or software issue, do not undervalue computers or you will end up paying a much higher price from every angle.

Just like with personal computer’s users, I have met and continue to meet a few business owners that think they can handle their network, server and computer issues by themselves or by hiring a tech-savvy person. Who needs an IT, right?
Neglecting your computers and your network and thinking your equipment will run indefinitely without issues is also a big mistake and illusion!
We have 5 computers in our lab, and if we did not perform maintenance on these, we would probably be shopping for new ones right now, besides the headaches, time loss and aggravation of not being able to run our business. Not being able to run our business — I repeated that because that is the single, most important thing to keep in mind, computers run your business and without these, your company stops.
