How Do You Connect TV to Laptop?
Below is a quick and simple way to connect your laptop or computer to your TV. My clients and friends ask me this all the time.
So, if you are going crazy and do not know how to do it, here it is:
- Make sure your laptop has an HDMI port like seen below;
- Make sure your TV has an HDMI port too;
- Now you buy an HDMI to HDMI cable that connects both and make sure to measure the distance in case you have a desktop and not a laptop. This cable is an excellent and affordable choice with hundreds of fantastic reviews:

If your laptop or desktop doesn’t have an HDMI port, you need to buy a DVI to HDMI cable. Make sure you have a DVI port on the back of your computer as seen below; this would be the best, most affordable choice of about 6ft:
